Linda Ann Kraber

December 17, 1953 - March 8, 2022

Linda Ann Kraber, age 68, of Lovilia, IA, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home, under the care of EveryStep Hospice. Linda was born on December 17, 1953, in Albia, IA, to John and Jennie (Post) Landsperger. She grew up attending school in Albia, graduating from the Albia High School with the Class of 1972. During high school, she worked at the Albia Newspaper Office and Trophy Glove in Albia. On July 16, 1977, she was united in marriage to David Kraber and to this union, 2 children were born, Matthew and Sarah. After Linda’s children were born, she was a homemaker the rest of her life. She loved planting flowers and decorating her yard every summer. She was a very avid reader of books and watching the Price is Right and Days of Our Lives soaps. She enjoyed having family dinners and making homemade noodles. She also enjoyed giving gifts to her family for birthdays, Christmas, and Easter. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. She babysat her grandchildren every chance she could get. They meant the world to her. Linda will be greatly missed by her husband, David; children, Sarah (Justin) Lang and Matthew (Holly) Kraber; 3 grandchildren, Karson Kraber and Ava and Natalie Lang; her mother-in-law, Marilyn Kraber; an aunt, Janice Slay of Albia, and 2 uncles, Pete (Shirley) Post of Cedar Rapids and Tim (Jodi) Post of Albia. Linda is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jennie Landsperger and her father-in-law, Charles Kraber. Per Linda’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a private family burial will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia, IA.
